Metro's Open Starsys system offers a truly versatile transport and storage system.  This system allows you to create your own storage unit by selecting a pre-configured shell unit and adding stationary or full extension shelves; shell units are available mobile or stationary.  The addition of full extension shelves offers increased storage capacity compared to standard shelving and carts.

Choose Open Starsys Double Shell units in a high or low profile, stationary or mobile. Double Shell Units are 41-3/4" (1060mm) width for stationary units and 42-1/2" (1080mm) width for mobile units, outside dimension. Each shell comes complete with chrome top and bottom wire shelves, aluminum posts with slotted inserts, footplates (for stationary models) or extended polymer base with 5" (127mm) swivel and brake casters (for mobile models). Intermediate stationary or full extension shelves must be ordered separately.

• SXRD72OSQ: Stationary unit, high profile, double wide. Outside dimensions: 21-5/8" D x 41-3/4" W x 72-3/8" H (702x1060x1838mm).

• SXRD51OMQ: Mobile unit, low profile, double wide. Outside dimensions: 27-7/8" D x 42-1/2" W x 50-3/4" H (708x1080x1289mm).

• SXRD51OMQESD: Mobile ESD unit, low profile, double wide, includes conductive aluminum shroud and grounding cable. Outside dimensions: 27-7/8" D x 42-1/2" W x 50-3/4" H (708x1080x1289mm).

• SXRD72OMQ: Mobile unit, high profile, double wide. Outside dimensions: 27-7/8" D x 42-1/2" W x 71-13/16" H (708x1080x1824mm).

• SXRD720MQESD: Mobile ESD unit, high profile, double wide, includes conductive aluminum shroud and grounding cable. Outside dimensions: 27-7/8" D x 42-1/2" W x 71-13/16" H (708x1080x1824mm).
